Subaru Impreza sedan
2013 SUBARU IMPREZA: All-new last year, the fourth-generation Subaru Impreza returns to the Chicago Auto Show with bold four-door sedan and five-door designs, in five different trim levels. Offered in standard 2.0i, 2.0i Premium and Sport Premium, 2.0i Limited and Sport Limited, the compact continues with new powertrain. A 2.0-liter horizontally opposed (Boxer) four-cylinder engine is more responsive than the 2.5L it replaces. The 2.0L produces 148 horsepower and comes standard with a Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system that offers a 30% improvement in fuel economy over the previous versions. A five-speed manual gearbox with Incline Start Assist is standard, and the available Lineartronic continuously variable transmission (CVT) earns an EPA rating of 27city/36highway. Other technologies helping boost fuel efficiency for 2013 include a new electric power steering system and low rolling resistance tires. There is an ECO gauge in the instrument panel to encourage economical driving. New for 2013, the base model gains Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity; rear vision camera, iTunes tagging, XM satellite radio and XM NavTraffic. Fresh body designs provide roomier five passenger cabins, with increased cargo capacities. The trunk on the four-door sedan carries 12.0 cu. ft. of luggage and the five-door with rear seats down has a maximum volume of 52.4 cu. ft. Available features include a power moonroof, Since its introduction for 2012 the Impreza more than doubled sales over the previous model to become one of Subaru's best sellers.
