Toyota Tundra
2013 TOYOTA TUNDRA:
Recognized as a hard-working, hard-playing full-size pickup truck, the Toyota Tundra receives several upgrades for the 2013 model year. A brand new model grade, "Platinum," increases Tundra trim levels to three when added to the base Tundra and Limited edition. There are three cab styles (Regular, Double Cab and Crew Max), three wheelbase lengths (126.8, 145.7 and 164.6 inches, depending on model and configuration) and three bed lengths (78.7, 97.6 and for CrewMax only, 66.7-inches).
An available 4.0 liter Dual Overhead Cam (DOHC) V-6 engine is standard in Tundra Regular and Double Cab models. It produces 270 horsepower and paired with a five-speed automatic transmission with uphill/downhill shift logic. For greater performance, the 4.6L DOHC i-Force V-8 offers 310hp, and the 5.7L DOHC i-Force V-8 creates 381hp. Both i-Force engines are teamed with a six-speed automatic gearbox. All powertrains can be ordered with rear-wheel drive or 4x4 with four-wheel demand system and electronically controlled two-speed transfer case. Inside the Tundra's three, five or six passenger cabins are richly textured fabrics or deep-grain leathers available in four colors. Tundra models now offer an SR5 Package and TRD Rock Warrior Special Edition parcel that combines a tough off-road look with rugged off-road capability. A back-up camera is standard on specific models, and Toyota makes the display navigation with Entune multimedia package a new option for 2013.
