Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback
2013 MITSUBISHI LANCER SPORTBACK: Based on the striking 2013 Mitsubishi Lancer sedan, the '13 Lancer Sportback is a stylish hatchback with a taller and longer stance than its sister sedan - but just as pleasing to the eyes. For 2013, the Lancer Sportback is available in two trims: entry-level ES and the more richly equipped GT. Powered by a normally-aspirated 2.0-liter DOHC MIVEC four-cylinder engine, the Sportback ES delivers a plentiful 148 horsepower and is outfitted with a seamlessly-functioning continuously-variable transmission (CVT). Check out the Lancer Sportback GT that packs a 2.4-liter DOHC MIVEC four-cylinder engine for 20 additional horses, or a total of 168hp. The CVT includes steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters that allow the driver to simulate gear changes. Inside Lancer's five-door body is seating for five passengers, or a vast 52.7 cubic feet of available cargo space when rear 60/40 split seat is folded flat. For those who want to add a touch of pizzazz there are optional front air dam, sharp-looking 18-in. alloy wheels, exhaust finisher and fog lights. Various interior packages contain blue-colored LED front illumination and LED interior lamps, FAST-key entry and starting system, rear camera monitor and navigation with Music Server, Real Time Traffic (lifetime at no cost) and a seven-inch touch-screen display that replaces the standard audio head unit.
