Volvo C70
2013 VOLVO C70: On display at the 105th edition Chicago Auto Show is the 2013 Volvo C70, the model that is "two cars in one." It is as much an elegant coupe as a sporty convertible. With a press of a button the smart three-piece steel roof folds away in 30 seconds and silently, disappears neatly into the boot. Trim levels start with the Volvo C70 T5, move up to the C70 T5 Premier Plus and tops at the C70 T5 Platinum. A pair of 2.5 liter five cylinder turbocharged engines are offered, in 227 horsepower and 250hp versions. Both come mated to a five-speed Geartronic automatic transmission, with power directed to the front-wheels. State-of-the-art equipment includes adaptive brake lights that rapidly flash to warn cars behind when you have to brake harder than normal; standard Bluetooth with audio streaming and satellite radio with a six-month trial subscription. The Premier Plus trim level includes LED daytime running lights, Keyless Drive, Homelink, rear park assist and an integrated compass for the auto-dimming rear view mirror. While the Platinum trim features all the contents of Premier Plus, and adds Volvo Premium Sound and Navigation systems. The cozy four-passenger interior creates a unique ambience in the Volvo C70, and with roof up, there is 12.8 cu. ft. of luggage space in the trunk - and half that number when roof is lowered. Eight exterior colors are offered, including shades with names like, Flamenco Red metallic, Ice White and Celestial Blue pearl.
