Lexus LS
2013 LEXUS LS: Continuing to be the benchmark in the flagship luxury sedan category, the Lexus LS series has been redesigned for 2013 model year. Embarking on its third decade in the premium category, the LS line-up includes the LS 460, LS 460L, LS 600hL hybrid, and the first-ever LS 460 F SPORT. The LS 460 and LS 460L are available in rear-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations, while the LS Hybrid comes with the full-time AWD system. When visiting the 2013 Chicago Auto Show, take a close look at the LS 460 F Sport with it's aggressive exterior that includes larger cooling openings, black grille surround, and round fog lamps. It's also fitted with steering wheel with paddle shifters, Brembo six-piston caliper brakes and 19-inch forged wheels. Power is supplied by a 4.6 liter V-8 that creates 386 horsepower and comes mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. For a large sedan that weights in around 5600 lbs, the LS can sprint from 0-to-60 mph in 5.4 seconds, and reach a top track speed of 130 mph. Each LS seats five in luxurious surroundings, and a tailored trunk that carries 18.0 cu. ft. of luggage for those weekend getaways. A really cool option is an available ottoman seating package with Shiatsu massage and a rear seat entertainment system, featuring a Blu-ray DVD player, an SD card slot and a retractable, ceiling mounted, nine-inch full-color VGA screen. Lexus wants to remind people that the 2013 LS "is the car for those who enjoy a life well-lived, and don't mind being noticed in the process."
