Nissan Altima
2013 Nissan Altima Sedan:
On display at the 105th edition of the Chicago Auto Show is the all-new fifth generation Nissan Altima sedan, the most innovated version ever. Featuring a new aerodynamic exterior design, the 2013 Altima is offered in seven models, 2.5, 2.5 S, 2.5 SV, 2.5 SL, 3.5 S, 3.5 SV and 3.5 SL. The fresh, aerodynamic body compliments the upscale five-passenger interior with premium materials, advanced technology features and NASA-inspired "zero gravity" front seats. Cargo space has been improved, with 15.4 cu. ft. of luggage/grocery room in the spacious trunk. Consumers have their choice of a redesigned 182-horsepower 2.5-liter DOHC inline four-cylinder engine or a proven 270 hp 3.5-liter V-6. Next-generation Xtronic CVT (continuously variable transmission), is standard with both engines. Along with greatly enhanced driver feel, the result of the new CVT redesign is an estimated 15+ percent improvement in fuel economy with the four-cylinder engine and a 10 percent improvement with the V-6 engine (versus 2012 Altima models). Additional standard equipment on the 2013 Altima is Bluetooth, streaming audio, NissanConnectSM Navigation, Pandora playback, real-time Google POI search and more. Altima offers next-generation safety technologies, including Easy Fill tire alert, Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning and Moving Object Detection systems.
