Mitsubishi Galant
2012 MITSUBISHI GALANT: Available in ES and SE trim levels, the 2012 Mitsubishi Galant features a 0.5-inch ride height reduction for improved aerodynamics, and new chrome beltline molding that gives the five-passenger, four-door sedan an even more polished appearance. All ’12 Galants are equipped with a sublime 2.4 liter SOHC four-cylinder engine tht develops 160 horsepower and a stout 157 lb.-ft. of torque to the front wheels. Linked to the powerplant is a smooth-shifting four-speed Sportronic automatic transmission that allows the enthusiast driver to quickly toggle up and down through the gears if they so choose. Among the latest no-cost items on the ES is keyless entry, auto-off halogen headlamps, auxiliary audio input jack, and a vibrant-sounding six speaker AM/FM/CD/MP3 audio arrangement. Building upon the entry-level features, the 2012 Galant SE adds a touch-screen DVD-based navigation system with rear-view backup camera; a sensational 650-watt (max) Rockford Acoustic Design premium audio system, Digital Signal Processor, three-month pre-paid subscription to SIRIUS satellite radio, Bluetooth hands-free phone system, power sunroof, attractive 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels and fog lamps. The trunk on both the ES and SE can hold 13.3 cu. ft. of groceries, including long loaves of French bread, due to an access pass-through from the rear seating.
