Buick LaCrosse
2013 BUICK LACROSSE:
Buick's popular LaCrosse four-door sedan continues for 2013 with a contemporary sculpted design, craftsmanship, premium materials and advanced technologies. This model year, the LaCrosse is available in five trim levels that include the LaCrosse Base (1SB), Leather (1SL), Premium (1SP), Premium II (1SR) and Touring (1ST). The LaCrosse is offered with two efficient engines choices: the standard 182 horsepower 2.4-liter four-cylinder; and an available 3.6L V-6 that delivers 303hp and has E85 ethanol FlexFuel capability. Both engines are mated to efficient six-speed transmissions, and the maximum trailer towing is 1000 pounds. LaCrosse's leather interior seats five, and includes smoked chrome accents, warm wood combined with inviting ice blue ambient lighting. For shopping and travel, the trunk provides 13.3 cu. ft. of luggage room. Notable new features for 2013 include fuel-saving electric power steering that replaces hydraulic power steering; revised rearview mirror position, available XM travel link and three new metallic exterior paint colors: Mocha Bronze, Champagne Silver and Atlantis Blue. Buick's easy-to-use IntelliLink color touch radio that debuted last year on the LaCrosse is now also available in combination with GPS-enabled navigation for 2013. Buick IntelliLink uses Bluetooth or USB to connect the driver's smart phone - via voice activation and steering wheel-mounted controls - to an eight-inch, high-resolution, full-color touch-screen display radio. An interesting new feature is Buick's exclusive QuietTuning engineering process to reduce, block and absorb interior noise for a distraction-free cabin. Also note that Buick's signature blue ring has been added to the Xenon high-intensity discharge lamps.
