Hyundai Veracruz
2012 HYUNDAI VERACRUZ: As Hyundai's flagship crossover vehicle, the 2012 Veracruz wears an imposing new grille and the latest-look in 18-inch hypersilver wheels. The seven-passenger Veracruz receives a standard heated second row rear seats on the Limited trim and a new Alpine navigation system. Veracruz delivers capable, fuel-efficient performance courtesy of a 3.8-liter DOHC V6 engine, which produces 260 horsepower and 257 lb-ft. of torque. It comes linked to an Aisin six-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC manual control, and the combination scores a 3500 lb tow rating. Available in GLS and Limited trim levels, the Veracrus can be equipped with front-wheel or an all-wheel drive system that provides a 50-50 torque ration when needed at low speeds. Other amenities offered on the Veracruz are power tailgate, proximity key, backup warning system, Pandora internet radio for iPhone, rearview camera, Bluetooth hands-free phone system and seven-inch touch-screen display. Hyundai's standard Hideaway third-row seat and well-thought out cabin design creates up to 86.8 cu. ft. of cargo room. Brushed metal accents and blue backlighting for all interior gauges, switches and buttons highlight the integrated interior design. Even the front cupholders are accented with blue light.
