2013 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER: On display for the first time at a Chicago Auto Show will be the all-new 2013 Land Rover Range Rover, engineered from the ground up to be the most refined, most capable Range Rover ever. This marks the fourth generation of the Range Rover line, and a modern interpretation of an iconic design. It is also the world's first SUV with a lightweight high strength all-aluminum monocoque body structure. You have the choice of two 5.0-liter V-8 engines, which includes the supercharged 5.0-liter with 510 horsepower, or the naturally-aspirated version that delivers 375hp. Both V-8s are now matched with standard eight-speed automatic transmission, and when mated to the 510hp version, the Range Rover can accelerate from 0-60mph in just 5.1 seconds, which is a reduction of 0.8 seconds over the outgoing model. Created for all-terrain conditions, including outstanding traction and stability, as well as a wading depth of up to 35.4 inches and maximum towing capacity of 7,716 pounds. Premium appointed five-passenger cabin contains over 4.7 inches more legroom, laminated privacy glass, finest leathers and veneers, optional reclining rear seats, and when rear seat is folded down, an impressive 74.2 cu. ft. of cargo room. High-end audio from Meridian and luxurious seating with multi-mode massage are available, and the ultra-luxury Range Rover Autobiography returns for 2013.
