Nissan Murano Cross-Cabriolet
2013 NISSAN MURANO CROSS-CABRIOLET: First introduced in the spring of 2011, the Nissan Murano Cross-Cabriolet became the world’s first all-wheel drive crossover convertible. This claim can be made as the Murano is a crossover unibody and not body-on-frame construction (think Jeep). Now in its third model year the Cross-Cabriolet is offered in one fully equipped model that blends Murano upscale midsize sport utility vehicle with four-passenger open air cruising. The 2013 Murano CrossCabriolet comes outfitted with a standard 265 horsepower 3.5 liter DOHC V-6 engine that is mated to a standard second-generation Xtronic CVT (continuously variable transmission). Open-air road tunes are provided by a Bose AM/FM/CD audio system with eight speakers including subwoofer, and automatic audio adjustment for soft-top up/down position. An advanced Nissan hard-drive navigation system with real-time traffic information, streaming audio, voice recognition and seven-inch VGA touch screen are available. For the new model year there is a revised 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheel design, and buyers have a choice of four exterior colors including two fresh hues, Midnight Garnet and Gun Metallic. Two options are available with specific exterior colors – a Camel interior with upgraded leather and the black top, and the Brown top/Cashmere interior combination (with upgraded leather). Dual pop-up roll bars are standard. With the top down, the trunk capacity with the top down is 7.6 cubic feet, enough to fit two golf bags or two carry-on suitcases. With the top closed, cargo capacity expands to 12.3 cu. ft.
