Aston Martin DB9
2013 ASTON MARTIN DB9: For 2013, the thoroughbred Aston Martin sports car with GT levels of comfort and refinement, is available in Coupe or Volante (convertible) body architecture. Both models deliver total driver involvement, luxury, and extraordinary performance. Aston Martin faced an incredible challenge to make a great design even better with the creation of this next-generation DB9. Nearly 50% of all parts and more than 70% of all body panels on the 2013 DB9 are new. The front mid-mounted engine produces 470 horsepower from the 5.9-liter V-12 and comes nicely mated to the rear mid-mounted Touchtronic 2 six-speed automatic transmission. With little effort this powertrain combination sprints from 0-to-60 miles per hour in 4.6 seconds and as the suspension stiffens and louder exhaust notes serenade driver and passenger, the DB9 is propelled to a maximum speed of 190 mph. Halting the gorgeous vehicle is the new DB9 braking system that employs advanced carbon ceramic brakes, which feels great whatever the speed or environment. The ’13 DB9 two-door body style offers a 2+2 cabin arrangement, using the finest Bridge of Weir leather hides, as well as a tailored 6.6 cu. ft. of luggage room. Priced from $193,730 and up, the Aston Martin DB9 can be equipped with a 700 watt sound system, Apple IPOD connector, USB connector with Waveform Audio, Windows Media, Bluetooth and satellite navigation. A nice touch is the trunk-mounted umbrella.
