Buick Encore
2013 BUICK ENCORE:
Encore is Buick's all-new luxury small crossover for 2013 that reinterprets the brand's signature design cues, and is available with front-wheel or all-wheel drive packages. Trim-levels comprise the standard Encore, Convenience, Leather and Premium editions. Notable styling details include blue-accented projector-beam headlights and stylish taillights that enhance the premium appearance; and those handsome 18-inch, five-spoke painted aluminum wheels come standard. An option are the seven-spoke chrome wheels. With room for five passengers and up to 48.4 cubic feet of storage space with the rear seat folded, the Encore offers substantial cargo capacity along with the confident, higher driving position and all-wheel-drive capability of a crossover. An all-Ebony or contemporary mix of dark and light tones distinguishes the cabin, which is accented with ice-blue ambient lighting, select use of bright chrome and woodgrain trim. The 2013 Buick Encore is powered by an Ecotec 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that generates 140 horsepower. A six-speed automatic transmission backs the 1.4L engine. Nine exterior colors and three interior color combinations are offered. Interesting footnote: Encore is built on a global small-crossover platform and engineered with a "one-tire" philosophy. Everything is optimized around a single 18-inch tire specification, designed for more precise suspension tuning, driving refinement, quietness and a feeling of control.
