Dodge Challenger
2013 DODGE CHALLENGER:
Pony and muscle car fans have a lot to examine with the 2013 Dodge Challenger models on display at the 105th edition of the Chicago Auto Show. This year, the Challenger lineup starts with the SXT, SXT Plus and Rallye Redline with standard 305 horsepower 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine, cold-air induction system, dual exhausts and a five-speed Auto Stick transmission. For the performance enthusiast, the '13 Challenger R/T, R/T Plus and R/T Classic models feature the legendary 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 engine that delivers up to 375 horsepower. The Hemi can be matched to a six-speed manual shifter or optional five-speed automatic transmission with steering-wheel mounted paddle shifters and Sport Mode. Dodge Challenger's rear-wheel-drive architecture is available in three suspension tunings and high-performing wheel and tire combinations. This includes the Super Track Pak which adds 20-inch wheels and Goodyear Eagle F1Three-season performance tires, three-mode electronic stability control (ESC) and high-performance monotube shock absorbers. With spirited driving, power, seating for five, coupled with best-in-class cargo space (16.2 cubic feet), Dodge Challenger is an authentic 21st century prodigy of its iconic 1970-74 ancestry. New exterior paint colors include: Billet Silver metallic Clear Coat, Granite Crystal Pearl Coat, Jazz Blue Pearl Coat and Phantom Black Tri-Coat.
