Dodge Journey
2013 DODGE JOURNEY:
Totally overhauled two years ago, the versatile, midsize Journey SUV receives minor tuning to styling, suspension and interiors for the 2013 model year. Consumers have a selection of five trim levels, including the Dodge Journey SE, SXT, Crew, R/T - and the American Value Package (AVP). Journey is available with front- or all-wheel drive, and a choice of two engines. A 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 173 horsepower comes linked to a four-speed automatic transmission and is standard on the AVP and SE. Stock engine for the SXT, Crew and R/T packages is the 3.6L V-6 that develops 282hp. It comes mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox. This family mover offers five- or seven-passenger premium cabins, with soft-touch materials throughout. When the second and optional third-row seats are folded flat, there is a respectable 67.6 cu. ft. of cargo space. Also offered is front-passenger "Flip-N-Stow" in-seat storage, Uconnect Touch radio with 8.4-inch touchscreen, and standard, keyless "Enter-N-Go" with push button start. Visually, the Journey's bold "ring of fire" LED taillights and choice of unique wheels provide a dramatic styling statement. The AVP, SE and SXT models come standard with new 17-inch wheels, while 19-inch alloy wheels adorn the Crew and R/T. Exterior colors choices for the 2013 model year have grown to 10 shades, including new Winter Chill Pearl Coat and Fathom Blue, both pearl coat finishes.
