Dodge Grand Caravan
2013 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN:
For 2013, the Dodge Grand Caravan is offering an industry-first new dual-screen Blu-Ray DVD video system with four-times higher resolution on Crew and R/T models. This system is offered by no other auto manufacturer. A revised lineup for 2013 begins with the Grand Caravan AVP the most affordable seven-passenger vehicle in America, and continues with the SE, SXT, Crew and R/T. At the heart of the Grand Caravan is the award-winning Pentastar 3.6-liter V-6 that produces 283 horsepower, and is companioned with a smooth-shifting six-speed automatic transaxle. That set-up offers a best-in-class 3,600 pound tow rating. New accessible items for the cabin includes a fresh Black/Sandstorm interior color scheme, anchored second-row floor mats, and second-row bench seat standard on the AVP model. An integrated Trailer Sway Damping is standard on all models, as are 17-inch wheels, with special aluminum wheels on the Caravan SXT and R/T. The R/T also includes re-tuned shocks that work in conjunction with the higher rate springs at all four corners for quicker handling characteristics. The available Safety Sphere Package of features contains rear park assist system, rear backup camera, blind-spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path detection system, rain-sensitive wipers and automatic headlamps. A perennial favorite among many of Caravan's inventiveness is the industry-exclusive Super Stow 'n Go seating, which can be easily operated with one hand in a matter of seconds. With third and middle seats folded down, there is a cavernous 143.8 cu. ft. of interior cargo capacity.
