Lotus Evora
2012 LOTUS EVORA: On display during the 2012 Chicago Auto Show is the exotic Lotus Evora, “wowing” the show goers with its swept-forward cabin and aggressive poise. Both the Evora and Evora S trim levels come fitted with a mid-mounted 3.5-liter V6, rear-wheel drive and weighing in at a mere 3,000 pounds. The stock engine develops 276 horsepower/258 lb. ft. torque, and for more attitude, the supercharged Evora S delivers 345hp and 295lb. ft. of torque with a breathtaking 0-60mph time of 4.6 seconds. Buyers can select either a six-speed manual gearbox or six-speed automatic transmission, as well as 18- or 19-inch alloy rims framed by Pirelli P-Zero tires. Surprisingly, there is a combined 23.0 cu. ft. of cargo space behind the front seat and trunk. For 2012, the Evora is a Lotus created to take you further, for longer, and in greater comfort than ever before. Once behind the wheel of the Evora, the “so many roads, so little time” Lotus tagline becomes quite evident.
