Lincoln MKT
2013 LINCOLN MKT:
Lincoln's refreshed full-size premium crossover, the 2013 MKT, is more inviting
than ever thanks to the addition of Lincoln Drive Control. This system brings enhanced handling and other improvements that increase power and fuel efficiency. Exterior styling updates include new grille, front fascia and 19- and 20-inch aluminum wheels, plus, exclusive new technologies that help protect passengers. The exterior mirrors also were redesigned to reduce wind noise. Two powerplants are offered, starting with the 303 horsepower 3.7-liter Ti-VCT V-6 for the front-wheel drive model. The all-wheel drive MKT is fitted with the 3.5L turbo direct-injected V-6 that generates 365 hp, and both engines come with a custom specified six-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. If the occasion arises, the MKT can provide up to 4,500 pound towing capability. Step into the MKT cabin and view the roomy interior, standard Panoramic fixed-glass "Vista Roof," and three rows of seating configured in six- and seven-passenger alternatives. The all-new instrumentation features a central speedometer flanked by a 4.2- and 8-inch full-color reconfigurable LCD screens. There is 17.9 cu. ft. of cargo room behind the third row seat, 39.5 when third row is down and 75.9 cu. ft with both middle and rear folded flat. A rear console-mounted, five-quart-capacity refrigerator is available in the six-passenger package. Standard premium innovations include Lincoln SYNC, providing occupants with hands-free, voice-activated communications and infotainment. MKT offers two audio systems, both controlled through MyLincoln Touch. The standard 210-watt system drives eight speakers, and the optional 700-watt system plays through 14 strategically aimed premium audio speakers.
