Infiniti JX
2013 Infiniti JX:
Guaranteed to draw large crowds into the Infiniti exhibit at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show, is the all new Infiniti JX luxury crossover. Emotive styling and craftsmanship expresses Infiniti's fresh design language, highlighted by the dramatic, double-arch front grille/headlight shape, double-wave hood, and crescent-cut D-pillar and greenhouse design. The 2013 JX is Infiniti's first venture into the three-row luxury crossover segment, offered in two models, the JX35 FWD (front-wheel drive) and JX35 AWD (all-wheel drive) and with five available equipment packages. Standard powertrain is a 3.5-liter DOHC V-6 that delivers 265 horsepower and comes mated to a sport-tuned continuously variable transmission (CVT). The JX is the first Infiniti to utilize a fuel-efficient CVT. Premium features, performance and innovations include Infiniti Connection with Google Calendar, Drive Zone/Speed Alert and Infiniti Personal Assistant, Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, the world's first Backup Collision Intervention system, Plasmacluster air purifier and 20-inch split five-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels. The spacious JX cabin easily welcomes all seven passengers, and offers 15.8 cu. ft. of cargo room behind the third row seating. As a footnote, the JX is assembled in Smyrna, Tenn.
