Volvo S60
2013 VOLVO S60: Big news for the Volvo S60 midsize luxury car is that for the first time, in model year 2013, Volvo's All-Wheel Drive with Instant Traction is available as a stand-alone option. Visually, the S60 was carved out as a coupe with four doors profile. For 2013, the S60 is offered in top-line T6 and base T5 trim levels, each with lavish interiors. Also, improvements for the S60 T5's standard 250 horsepower 2.5 liter turbocharged five-cylinder engine results with quicker acceleration of 0-to-60 mph sprint in 6.4 seconds for the front-drive T5 and 6.6 seconds with all-wheel drive setups. For even more performance, the T6 uses a 300hp turbocharged 3.0L six-cylinder that comes with all-wheel drive. Both engines are mated to six-speed automatic. All variants of the S60 can be specified with the advanced, self-adjusting active chassis that suit the dynamic character of the sports sedan. Rain sensor windshield wipers and headlight washers are now standard on all models. Headlights automatically turns on when the car enters a tunnel and then returns the lights to the previous setting when exiting the tunnel. Dual polished exhaust pipes are a new standard feature for the S60 T5. The T6 AWD gains a standard power passenger seat, power glass moonroof and keyless drive with personal car communicator. Within the five-passenger interior of the S60 is beige and black colors of the upholstery, spiced up with the new highlight shade Beechwood Brown. The décor inlays are available in Charcoal, Shimmer Graphite aluminium or Urbane Wood. When required, the tailored trunk can carry a maximum of 12.0 cu. ft. of groceries or luggage.
