Volvo C30
2012 VOLVO C30: With the C30, Volvo made its debut in the segment for two-door premium cars. That was in 2008. For 2012, the sporty four passenger C30 with glass tailgate, continues to offer a young group of customers "a Volvo of their own." The C30 personality has been boosted this model year with a new, confident front, a bold styling kit for those who want even more attitude - and a new razor-sharp sports chassis. New for 2012 is the 17-inch, five-spoke diamond cut "Spider" wheel design. Trim levels include the T5 and R-Design with a variety of beauty and performance packages. The 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder engine is transversely installed and produces 227 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque to the front wheels. Either a six-speed manual gearbox or five-speed Geartronic automatic transmission can be specified, and the maximum towing capacity is 2000. With rear seating folded down, the C30 provides up to 33.4 cu. ft. of cargo room. For a truly Scandinavian look go for the new Orange Flame metallic finish with standard 17-inch Spartacus alloy wheels and light colored Blond leather interior.
