Volvo S80
2012 VOLVO S80: Building on great success in key markets, Volvo Cars' large and exclusive sedan model - Volvo S80 - blends a distinctive and elegant design, an exclusive interior, a sharp chassis and upgraded engine range. For 2012, the Volvo’s top of the line source of power is the 3.0-liter turbo inline six-cylinder that pumps-out 300 horsepower and 325 lb. ft. of assertive torque. There is also the 3.2L six power plant that brings 240hp and 236 lb. ft. of torque to the party. Each engine comes with standard-equipped six-speed automatic transmission, in front-wheel or all-wheel drive configurations. Examples of the latest technology includes Collision warning and Pedestrian Detection with Full auto brake, Driver Alert Control, Land Departure Warning and dual xenon headlights with active bending. The audiophile system features 12 loudspeakers and Dolby ProLogic II, and available Bluetooth with streaming audio. Every seat in the five-passenger cabin is upholstered in the finest Scottish hide, and the tailored trunk holds 14.9 cu. ft. of golf clubs and luggage.
