2013 MAZDA3: The Mazda3 lineup for 2013 includes four-door and five-door configurations in four main trim levels, Mazda3 i SV, i Sport, i Touring and i Grand Touring. Standard powerplant on the Mazda3 is the SKYACTIV-G 2.0-liter engine as well as the six-speed manual gearbox or six-speed automatic transmission. The ‘13 Mazda3 also features improved sporty front-wheel driving dynamics, responsive handling and a comfortable five passenger cabin in four-door sedan and five-door hatchback models. All models wear fresh front fascia and some updated rear lower bumper. Along with the SKYACTIV-G 2.0L four-cylinder, there is a base 2.0L, a 2.3 turbo I4 that creates a healthy 263 horsepower, and the 2.5L that delivers 167hp. Besides the six-speeds, the Mazda3 is available with five-speed manual and five-speed automatics. The sedan’s trunk can haul 11.4 cu. ft. of cargo, and the hatchback creates 17.1 cu. ft. of room when rear seating is lowered. Tire and wheel sizes include 16-, 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels, as well as 16-inch steel wheels with full wheel covers. An optional feature available for 2013 models is a segment-exclusive Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) system.
