Maserati GranTurismo Convertible
2013 MASERATI GRANTURISMO CONVERTIBLE: Recognized worldwide as masterpieces of style, the Maserati GrandTurismo convertible was a big hit at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show. The vehicle bears the unmistakable mark of Pininfarina, with long hood, short overhangs, three air intakes on front fenders, rear diffuser, triangular taillights that use 96 LEDs, and light alloy 20-inch birdcage design wheels. This is the only retractable softtop in its class to seat four adults in a uniquely designed cabin that features leather handcrafted by Poltrona Frua and prestigious wood trim. Adding to the on-board comfort is the insulated canvas top that lowers in 24 seconds. When driving with just one passenger, there is an optional windstop that reduces the flow of air inside the cockpit. If inclement weather arrives, just slow down to 20 mph and hold the close button down and the roof goes up and passengers are protected from the weather. Not only does the GranTurismo convertible deliver beautiful music from the Bose Surround Sound system, but by way of the high-performance powertrain. Delivering 433 horsepower, is a 4.7 liter V-8 that comes linked to a six-speed ZF automatic transmission which is integrated into the engine block and delivers 361 ft,-lb. of torque to the rear wheels. The GranTurimimo convertible can easily sprint from 0-to-60 mph in 5.1 seconds; run the ΒΌ mile in 13.2 seconds, and reach a governed top speed of 176.
