Maserati Quattroporte
2012 MASERATI QUATTROPORTE: As the most powerful and luxurious sedan Maserati has ever produced, the Quattroporte “four-door” is a must see at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show. With exterior and interior styling by Pininfarina , the Quattroporte is offered in S and Sport GT S trim levels, all fitted with a 4.7-liter V8 engine and six-speed automatic transmission. The standard Quattroporte and Quattroporte S produce 425 horsepower and a top speed of 174 mph, while the athletic Sport GT S upgrades to 433hp and can hit 177 mph. Both generate 361 lb.ft of torque to the rear wheels and easily sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds. The Maserati engine forms a throaty roar at low engine speeds and the full symphonic sound of a genuine sports car at higher rpm. Improvements for 2012 include new leather colors and wood trims, integrated Bose Multimedia system, and all four seats are electronically adjustable, with optional heating, ventilation and massage functions. The spacious, 15.9-cu. ft. trunk has an even shape and flat floor that can fit three to four golf bags, and the model on display at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show has an MSRP of $133,975.
