Land Rover LR2
2013 LAND ROVER LR2: Superb handling with true Land Rover capability and versatility, the 2013 LR2 is now equipped with a new 240 horsepower 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that boosts not only horsepower and torque, but also fuel economy over the previous inline six-cylinder powerplant. Mated to the engine is a six-speed automatic transmission with CommandShift that provides all the advantages of an automatic and fun of a manual gearbox. For 2013, the Land Rover LR2 is offered in three trim levels, beginning with the LR2, then LR2 HSE and top-tier LR2 HSE Lux. Interior amenities can include premium Windsor leather seats for five occupants, a seven-inch infotainment touchscreen that governs an 825-watt, 16-channel, 17-speaker Meridian sound system as well as a host of other commands from the redesigned control panel and center console. Advanced features include five-passenger tiered 'stadium' seating. cruise control (conveniently located with the audio controls on the steering wheel), automatic dual zone climate control and panoramic sunroof. With rear seatbacks folded flat, there is up to 30 cu. ft. of cargo carrying capabilities. The all-wheel drive configuration is adjustable to fit smooth highways or rugged off-road terrain.
