Hyundai Sonata
2013 HYUNDAI SONATA: Hyundai's best selling Sonata sedan received some minor tweaking for the 2013 model year, including heated seats added as standard equipment to all models and packages except base GLS model. Also, the Sonata Limited comes standard with a traditional sunroof, while a panoramic sunroof is now part of the Limited Premium Package. The exterior styling continues with "Fluidic Sculpture" design language that is long, light and low, and completed by 16-, 17- or 18-inch multi-spoke wheels. Trim levels include the well-equipped GLS, sport-focused SE, Limited and fuel-efficient Hybrid. The Hyundai Theta II 2.4 liter four-cylinder with a Gasoline Direct-Injection (GDI) fuel delivery system, creates 200 horsepower. Stepping up with 274 hp is the 2.0L Theta II turbocharged four-cylinder. The heart of Sonata Hybrid's Blue Drive technology is the 2.4L teamed with electric motors and a lithium polymer battery pack. That arrangement generates 206 hp. All 2013 Sonatas are front-wheel drive and utilize a six-speed automatic transmission with Shiftronic manual control. Sonata offers Blue Link to provide up-to-the-minute traffic and weather information and is a lifeline to emergency services and roadside assistance. Complementing Sonata's upscale five passenger interior is the tailored trunk carries up to 16.4 cu. ft. of cargo space.
