2013 HONDA ACCORD: On display at the 105th Chicago Auto Show is the all-new 2013 Accord Sedan and Accord Coupe, which is the ninth generation of Honda's best-selling midsize car. Fully redesigned for '13, the Accord is slightly more compact than the prior-generation, yet provides improvements in rear legroom and trunk volume. The latest Accord lineup includes LX, Sport, EX/EX-L V-6 and Touring, all offering a more luxurious five-passenger automobile, with better performance and features than any other model in the Accord's 37-year history. Standard items include Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, USB/iPod integration, rearview camera, an audio/information screen, Eco Assist driving system, Pandora Internet radio integration and an SMS text messaging function. The 2013 Accord lineup is powered by Honda's new Earth Dream powertrains, which includes the next-generation 2.4 liter direct-injected VTEC four-cylinder engine, with 185 and 189 horsepower ratings. The 2013 models also offer a more efficient and powerful ( 245hp) Earth Dreams VTEC V-6. Three transmissions are available, including the first-ever application of a continuously variable transmission (CVT) on 2.4L four-cylinder models; a six-speed automatic on V-6 models, and six-speed manual transmissions on 2.4L four-cylinder models and the 3.5L V-6 Coupe. New to the lineup is the 2014 Accord Plug-in Hybrid Sedan and a second model with conventional hybrid based on the same powertrain architecture. The trunk on the Coupe can carry 13.7 cubic feet of luggage, and the Sedan increases the volume to 15.8 cubic feet. Visit the official site for more information
