GMC Terrain Denali

2013 GMC TERRAIN DENALI: During the 105th edition of the Chicago Auto Show, GMC will spotlight the latest member of the expanding Denali sub-brand with the Chicagoland introduction to the 2013 Terrain Denali. Inside and out, the '13 Terrain Denali is a luxury small SUV that contain high-end details, and a choice from two engines that fit consumer needs. Terrain's standard Ecotec 2.4 liter I-4 delivers 182 horsepower, while GMC's new 301hp 3.6 liter V-6 replaces the current 3.0L six. Both powerplants for 2013 are connected to six-speed automatic transmissions, engineered to meet specific engine requirements. Front-wheel drive is standard on Terrain Denali, with all-wheel drive available for both engines. The 2.4L has a maximum trailer towing of 1500 pounds and the 3.6L more than doubles the capacity to 3500lbs. Denali-specific exterior features include new head- and taillight designs, body color front and rear fascias, as well as body color rocker panels with satin chrome molding, and dual chrome finish exhaust pipes. Terrain Denali's five-passenger cabin feature soft-touch Jet Black leather, which lines the seats and door inserts, and soft-touch instrument panel with French stitching. The interior also contains embossed Denali logos on front seatbacks, smoked mahogany wood trim accents, and red accent lighting. Respectable cargo volume numbers include 31.1 cubic feet of room behind the rear seat, and more than double to 63.9 cu. ft. behind front seat. Standard and available technologies includes a forward collision alert and lane departure warning system, programmable power liftgate, color touch radio with IntelliLink, intuitive voice commands, Bluetooth smartphone integration, radio apps such as Pandora and Stitcher, plus, six free months of OnStar's Directions and Connections plan.
