Cadillac Escalade
2013 CADILLAC ESCALADE:
As one of the top luxury SUVs available, the Cadillac Escalade is synonymous with style, technology, comfort and performance. For 2013, the Escalade lineup includes three distinct body styles and the Platinum editions. The model range includes the Escalade, the extended-length Escalade ESV and the reconfigurable Escalade EXT. The Escalade and Escalade ESV are available in all-wheel and rear-wheel drive configurations, while the Escalade EXT sport-utility truck features standard, full-time all-wheel drive. Standard on the '13 Escalades is a 6.2-liter V-8 rated at 403 horsepower. The V-8 features variable valve timing, Active Fuel Management technology and E85 capability, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Latest model available is the Escalade Hybrid, powered by a two-mode hybrid system that consists of an advanced, electrically variable transmission and 300-volt nickel-hydride energy storage system. These systems work in concert with a 6.0-liter V-8. Three rows of seating are standard on Escalade and Escalade ESV models. The second row is offered as two bucket seats or a three-passenger bench, with a 60/40 split, and the third row features a 50/50-split design and is removable.
