BMW X5
2013 BMW X5: BMW's X5 all-wheel drive sports activity vehicles will be ready for inspection at the 105th annual Chicago Auto Show, with colorful examples of the 2013 X5 lineup. Offered in a choice of trim levels and equipment, the list includes the xDrive35i, xDrive35i Premium, xDrive35i Sport Activity, xDrive50i and the xDrive35d. A 3.0L inline turbo six comes with the 35i, generating 300hp, and the 50i is fitted with the 4.4L V-8 that pumps-out a generous 400hp. An M Sport Package is available on most X5 levels, and with its twin turbocharger, pushes the 4.4L to an astronomical 555hp. The above X5 powertrains include eight-speed automatic gearboxes, and offer a maximum towing capability of 6,000 pounds. When ordering the xDrive35d, you receive a 265hp 3.0 liter six cylinder turbo diesel engine mated to six-speed automatic. Whether on expressways or backwoods without roads, the X5 offers excellent handling, seating for seven, and 35.8 cu. ft. of storage behind the rear seat. When seats are lowered, a total of 75.2 cu. ft open up behind the front seat for cargo of all sizes and shapes. The versatility continues with the addition of a rear view camera with top view, rear manual side window shades and new navigation system.
