2013 Ram 1500: Ram lives up to its slogan, "A truck for everyone," with the 2013 1500 half-ton pickup lineup. Depending on your needs, there's a Regular Cab, Quad Cab and Crew Cab models, with three box lengths: 8-foot (regular cab), 6-ft-4-in (regular cab and Quad Cab), and 5-ft-7-in (Ram 1500 Crew Cab). Multiple trim levels are available, each with a unique appearance: Tradesman, Express, HFE, SLT, Big Horn/Lone Star, Outdoorsman, Sport, Laramie and Laramie Longhorn. A flex-fuel capable 4.7 liter V-8 provides 310 horsepower and is connect to a six-speed automatic transmission. It's available exclusively on the Tradesman. A new 305hp 3.6L Pentastar V-6 develops 42% more hp and better fuel numbers than the previous 3.7L. In addition, performance fans can order the 395hp 5.7-liter Hemi V-8, which will catapult the Ram from 0-60 mph in 6.1 seconds. A new class-exclusive eight-speed automatic transmission is standard with the 3.6L and available with the Hemi, as is rear-wheel, part-time and on-demand four-wheel-drive transfer cases. The Ram 1500 towing capacity ranges from 3450-10,400 lbs, and has a maximum payload of 5110 pounds. Depending on cab configurations, the Ram 1500 interior carries up to six passengers. All-new premium tail lamps are standard and consist of 15 red LEDs with three red LEDs for the side marker. In addition, the Ram 1500 has five new exterior colors: Black Gold, Copperhead, Maximum Steel Metallic, Prairie and Western Brown in a monotone and/or two-tone depending on the model.
