Dodge Charger
2010 DODGE CHARGER: Dodge’s four-door muscle car powers its way into 2010 with a 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 for the R/T series, boasting 368 horses. New this year, all models receive body-colot sill cladding, chromed grille with black insert and side-curtain air bags. All wheel drive equipped examples have an active transfer case with front axle disconnect smoothes the transition from rear wheel drive. Engine choices include the 3.5-liter V-6 rated at 250-hp, the aforementioned 5.7 liter Hemi and the SRT-8’s 6.1 liter Hemi V-8 with its now traditional 425 horses. Five speed automatics come bolted to all. For even more handling performance, the Road/Track Performance Group offers 20-inch chrome-clad aluminum wheels wrapped in all-season performance tires. Open the trunk: there is 16.2 cubic feet of cargo room. Despite early complaints of a four-door Charger, the current Charger has proved a popular performance sedan and even is gaining acceptance in the law enforcement community.
