Dodge Dakota
2010 DODGE DAKOTA: Dodge Dakota pioneered the mid-size pickup in the 1980s. Changes for 2010 are few and include new front shock modules and the elimination of the 6-speed manual transmission. Extended cab and crew cabs are available as is rear or 4 wheel drive. Four series are offered, the base ST, Bighorn, Laramie and TRX. Standard in all but the TX is a 3.7 liter 210 horsepower V-6. Standard in the TX and optional in the rest is the is the 4.7 liter OHC 302-hp V-8. On board for V-6 applications is a 4-speed automatic, while a 6-speed unit comes attached to the V-8. ST and Big Horn versions come in both extended and crew cabs. Laramie is only issued in crew cab as is TRX, which only comes in 4-wheel drive form. Dakota standard cargo beds are 6 feet, 6 inches in the extended cab and 5 feet, 4 inches in the crew cab.
