Toyota Rav4
2010 TOYOTA RAV4: Toyota continues to upgrade its entry level crossover SUV, the RAV4. New for 2010 the Base model gets the option of a backup monitor system integrated into the electrochromic rear view mirror. The Sport Appearance Package, introduced for 2009 on AWD V-6 powered models will also be available on the Sport FWD and AWD models that come with the 2.5 liter four. The 4-cylinder engine produces 179 horsepower, while the V-6 is good for 269 horses. All 3 models (Base, Sport and Limited) have a choice of front or all wheel drive and 4-cylinder or V-6 engines. The 4-cylinder receives a 4-speed automatic and V-6s do one better with 5-speed units. RAV4 hauls 5 passengers, or 7 people with optional 3rd-row bench seat. With seatbacks folded flat, there is 73.0 cu. ft. of cargo room.
