Ford Fusion Hybrid
2010 FORD FUSION HYBRID: The front-wheel drive Ford Fusion is offered as a hybrid model, equipped with the new 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, and a permanent magnet AC synchronous motor. The combination power plant is mated to an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission. Because the hybrid can run at a much higher speed in electric mode, under the right conditions, you can drive in your neighborhood or mall parking lots without using a drop of gasoline. The mid-sized Fusion Hybrid sedan also feature’s Ford’s SmartGauge with EcoGuide, a unique instrument cluster execution that helps coach them on how to optimize performance of their hybrid. Differentiating the Hybrid from its gas-powered sibling, are special hybrid “road and leaf” badging; exclusive 17-inch, eight-spoke wheels; eco-friendly seat fabric made from post-industrial 100 percent recycled materials; and a standard 110-volt power outlet.
