2010 FORD FLEX: In it’s second model year on the market, Ford’s Flex 4-door 3-row crossover/people hauler gets additional muscle with some models featuring the 355-hp 3.5 liter EcoBoost V-6 with twin turbochargers and direct injection. Flex comes in three series, the SE which now has 17-inch aluminum wheels standard, SEL and Limited. SE is front wheel drive, while the latter pair come in FWD, AWD and AWD with EcoBoost. Standard is a 3.5 liter 262-hp DOHC V-6. A 6-speed automatic gets bolted in, no matter what you order. Enhanced safety features include AdvanceTrac with Ross Staility Control and the Safety Canopy Rollover Sensor. Active Park Assisst and MyKey keyless remote are also available now. AutoFold 60/40 bench seat is now standard on all models. Based on the Fairlane concept vehicle seen at the 2005 Chicago Auto Show, Flex went on sale in the summer of 2008 as a 2009 model.
