Ford Explorer
2010 FORD EXPLORER: Time is running out for the body-on-frame Ford Explorer, as a new crossover SUV with unitized body is about to be unveiled. First Introduced by Ford as a 1991 model, the 2010 Explorer SUV remains true to its original configuration with and offers a choice of rear or 4-wheel drive. New this model year is a XLT Sport package with customizeable features and an available navigation system with SIRIUS Travel Link. Also the 4.6 liter 292-hp V-8 is now available on the mid-range Eddie Bauer series in place of the 4.0 liter 210-hp V-6. A 5-speed automatic is standard with the V-6 and the V-8 adds another gear. Five passenger seating is standard on the RWD XLT and three-row acomodations are standard on the rest. Eddie Bauer and Limited offerings feature a Safety Canopy side air curtain system standard and the option of power running boards.
