Mercedes-Benz C-Class
2010 MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS: Much is new, but nothing essential is changed in this 4th-generation (introduced in 2008) entry-level luxury 4-door sedan. The steering wheel gets covered in premium leather, tire monitors are updated (you know which tire and the pressure), and the C300 now will wear 17-inch 5-spoke wheels. Rear-wheel-drive models will have a new Dynamic Handling Package with an active damping system and speed-sensitive steering ratio. For the all-wheel-drive models, shift paddles have been mounted on the steering wheel. A rearview camera, tilted parking mirror, four-way power lumbar support and an improved media interface are new options. The C-Class includes the 3-liter, 228 horsepower V-6 C300 Sport and Luxury, 3.5-liter, 268-hp V-6 C350 Sport and 6.3-liter, 451-hp V-8 C63 AMG. All models are rear-wheel-drive except for the all-wheel-drive 258-hp V-6 C300 Sport and Luxury 4Matics. Transmissions are a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed automatic.
