Ram 1500 Copper Sport: The 2017 Ram Copper Sport made its world debut at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show. This limited-edition version of the Ram has a Copper Pearl exterior paint color, nine-speaker Alpine premium audio system with subwoofer and 22-inch wheels (two-wheel drive models - four-wheel drive models have 20-inch wheels). There will also have a unique grill and hood, model-specific badging and special interior trim. Only 3,000 units will be sold and the 2017 Ram 1500 Copper Sport will have a base price of $45,630, not including dealer and destination fees.
Ram is Fiat Chrysler's truck brand, and the 2017 Ram 1500 is a full-size pickup truck that competes with the Chevrolet Silverado, Ford F-150, Nissan Titan, and Toyota Tundra. The 2017 Ram Copper Sport will be offered on Crew Cab V8 models. Those models have a 5.7-liter V8 that makes 395 horsepower and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Ram 1500 Copper Sport is available with rear-wheel or four-wheel drive, and EPA-estimated fuel economy is listed at 15 mpg city and 22 mpg highway.
Features available across the Ram 1500 line include fog lamps, RamBox storage system, dual-zone climate control, power-adjustable pedals, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, cooled front seats, heated rear seats, sunroof, infotainment, USB, Bluetooth, navigation, satellite radio, and premium audio.
Available safety features include park assist, rear-view camera, stability control, anti-lock brakes, and dual-front, front-side and side-curtain airbags.
The Ram Copper Sport goes on sale later this month.
