The Rogue is a five-seat compact crossover SUV that competes with Ford Escape, Honda CR-V, and Toyota RAV4.The Rogue offers either a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 170 horsepower and pairs with a continuously-variable automatic transmission (CVT) or a hybrid that pairs a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with an electric motor for a total system horsepower of 176. It, too, uses a CVT. Both engines are available with front-wheel or all-wheel drive. EPA-estimated fuel economy is listed at 26 mpg city/33 mpg highway (25/32 with all-wheel drive) for the gas-engine model and 33/35 (31/34 with AWD).The Rogue is available in S, SV, and SL trims (SV and SL for the hybrid). Available features include heated steering wheel, rear spoiler, power liftgate, fog lamps, premium audio, USB, Bluetooth, navigation, and intelligent cruise control.Available safety features include blind-spot warning, forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, lane-departure prevention, rear-cross traffic alert, rear-view camera, 360-degree camera, and dual-front, front-side and side-curtain airbags.The 2017 Nissan Rogue has a base price of $23,820, not including destination and delivery fees.
