A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 189 horsepower is available, and the John Cooper Works engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 228 horsepower. The JCW car is all-wheel drive, and the two larger engines offer a choice between a six-speed manual and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard.
