2017 MINI 2-Door/4-Door/Convertible: The spiritual successor to the MINI of yore, the MINI 2-Door/4-Door/Convertible is a compact sporty hatchback that competes with other box-shaped vehicles like the Fiat 500 and Kia Soul. It has minor changes for 2017. A convertible version remains available.

The MINI 2-Door/4-Door/Convertible is available with two or four doors, and comes in Cooper, Cooper S and John Cooper Works trims. The Cooper has a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that makes 134 horsepower, while the Cooper S has a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 189 horsepower. The John Cooper Works edition has a 2.0-liter, 228-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder. Front- or all-wheel drive are available, and buyers have a choice between six-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmissions.

Available features include heated front seats, navigation, panoramic sunroof, premium audio, head-up display, and Bluetooth.

Available safety features include rear-view camera, parking assist, active driving assistant, stability control, and dual-front, front-side, front-knee and side-curtain airbags.

The base price for the 2017 MINI 2-Door/4-Door/Convertible is $20,950.
