2017 Mazda CX-9: The 2017 Mazda CX-9 carries forward with only minor changes. This mid-size crossover SUV seats seven and competes with the Dodge Durango, Ford Explorer, and Honda Pilot in the competitive mid-size crossover class.
The CX-9 is powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 227 horsepower (250 with premium fuel) and mates to a six-speed automatic transmission. The CX-9 is offered with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive. EPA-estimated fuel economy at 22 mpg city and 28 mpg highway (20/26 with AWD).
The CX-9 is offered in four trims: Sport, Touring, Grand Touring, and Signature. Available features include infotainment system with seven- or eight-inch touch screen, navigation system, head-up display, premium audio, leather seats, USB, heated front seats, power liftgate, fog lamps, and tri-zone climate control.
