2017 Land Rover Discovery: The 2017 Land Rover Discovery is all-new and it brings back a classic nameplate as it replaces the LR4. This brand-new SUV with the old-school Land Rover name will compete with the Audi Q5, BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class in the mid-size/large luxury crossover class.
Available engines include a 254-horsepower 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 diesel and a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 that makes 340 horsepower. All engines pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission and the Discovery is four-wheel drive.
Available features include infotainment, navigation, Bluetooth, in-car wireless, adaptive cruise control and the use of an app to unlock the vehicle.
Available safety features include autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, 360-degree camera, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist and dual-front, front-side and side-curtain airbags.
The 2017 Land Rover Discovery has a base price of $49,990, not including dealer and destination fees.
