2017 Jeep Renegade: The 2017 Jeep Renegade is a five-seat compact SUV that competes with the Honda HR-V and Mazda CX-3. It sees minor changes for 2017.
The Renegade is powered by either a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 160 horsepower or a 2.4-liter four-cylinder that makes 180 horsepower. The 1.4-liter four-cylinder is available with either a six-speed manual transmission or a nine-speed automatic, the 2.4-liter engine comes standard with the nine-speed. The Renegade is available with two- or four-wheel drive. EPA-estimated fuel economy is listed at 24 mpg city and 31 mpg highway for the 1.4-liter turbocharged engine and the 22/31 (21/29 with four-wheel drive) for the 2.4-liter engine.
