2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee: The 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee is a five-seat mid-size SUV that competes with the Ford Edge, Nissan Pathfinder and Toyota Highlander. For 2017 it adds a new off-road trim level and sees other minor changes.
The Grand Cherokee has several engine offerings: A 3.6-liter V6 that makes up to 295 horsepower, 5.7-liter V8 that makes 360 horsepower, 3.0-liter diesel V6 that makes 240 horsepower and 6.4-liter V8 that makes 475 horsepower. All mate to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Grand Cherokee is available with rear- or four-wheel drive.
There are several trim levels available: Laredo, Limited, Trailhawk, Overland, Summit and SRT. Available features include power liftgate, fog lamps, remote start, panoramic sunroof, adaptive cruise control, dual-zone climate control, leather seats, heated front seats, cooled front seats, heated second-row seats, heated steering wheel, satellite radio, USB, infotainment system, navigation system, Bluetooth and premium audio.
Available safety features include rear-view camera, park assist, stability control, hill-start assist, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-path detection, forward-collision with crash mitigation and dual-front, front-side, driver's knee and side-curtain airbags.
