2017 Jeep Cherokee: The 2017 Jeep Cherokee is a five-seat compact crossover SUV that competes with the Honda CR-V, Kia Sportage and Mazda CX-5. For 2017, it sees minor changes.The Cherokee offers two engine choices: A 3.2-liter V6 that makes 271 horsepower or a 2.4-liter four-cylinder that makes 184 horsepower. Both mate to a nine-speed automatic transmission. The Cherokee is available with front-wheel or four-wheel drive.The Cherokee is available in five trims: Sport, Latitude, Limited, Overland and Trailhawk. A few special edition models, including Altitude and High Altitude, are also available. Available features include power liftgate, sunroof, fog lamp, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, cooled front seats, leather seats, heated steering wheel, infotainment system, satellite radio, navigation, adaptive cruise control, Bluetooth and USB.Available safety features include stability control, rear cross-path detection, blind-spot monitoring, hill-start assist, lane-departure warning and dual-front, front-side, rear-side, driver- and passenger-knee and side-curtain airbags.
