2017 Hyundai Elantra

2017 Hyundai Elantra: The 2017 Hyundai Elantra is a five-seat compact car that competes with the Chevrolet Cruze, Ford Focus, Honda Civic, Kia Forte, Mazda 3 and Toyota Corolla. It's redesigned for 2017.

The Elantra is powered by either a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that makes 147 horsepower and mates to a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission, or a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 128 horsepower and mates to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The Elantra is front-wheel drive. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder has EPA-estimated fuel-economy numbers of 29 mpg city and 38 mpg highway, while the 1.4-liter clocks in at 32/40.

The Elantra is available in three trims - SE, Eco and Limited. Available features include keyless entry, smart trunk, smart cruise control, sunroof, air conditioning, leather seats, heated front seats, heated rear seats, Bluetooth, BlueLink connectivity system, USB ports, satellite radio, premium audio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Available safety features include dual-front, front-side, driver's knee and side-curtain airbags; anti-lock brakes, traction control, stability control, rearview camera, forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist and automatic emergency braking.

The 2017 Hyundai Elantra has a base price of $17,985, including delivery fees.
