2017 Chevrolet Trax: The 2017 Chevrolet Trax is a five-seat subcompact crossover SUV that competes with the Mitsubishi Outlander and Nissan Juke. For 2017, it's refreshed inside and out and a few new tech features are added. There's also a trim-level change.
The Trax is powered by a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 138 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic transmission. It's available with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive. Trax has an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 25 mpg city/33 mpg highway (24/30 with all-wheel drive).
The Trax is offered in three trims: LS, LT and Premier. Available features include 4G LTE hotspot with wireless charging, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 18-inch wheels, keyless entry and starting, 60/40 split-fold rear seat and remote start.
Safety features include dual-front, front-side, side-curtain, knee and rear-seat mounted airbags. Other safety features include blind-spot alert, rear cross-traffic alert, forward-collision alert, lane-departure warning, stability control, traction control, rear-view camera and park assist.
